Scintillation Detector Materials: Local Chapter of IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society

A meeting ”Discovery and development of improved scintillation detector materials for medical imaging and national security” of local East Bay-Oakland Chapter of IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society was held at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory yesterday on September 18, 2012.

Dr. Stephen Derenzo gave presentation on the latest state of the art in the area of discovering and testing of inorganic scinitillators. One of the trueGeiger developers (Igor) attended the session.

More details on the talk will likely be published later, while brief synopsis is available here. Stay tuned for more updates.
